I am a quilter, and I love it! I love going to the fabric store, I love putting the quilts together, and I love quilting.
I always have a quilt ready for the Gammill, one ready for hand quilting, one getting pieced together, and several others in different planning stages. I am addicted to quilting.
It was my mother who started my quilting addiction. She has produced many quilts for family and hand quilted them all.
I became a longarm quilter as I began contemplating retirement and dove right in, headfirst. Machine quilting doesn’t bring the ‘peace’ that hand quilting does, but it brings an excitement to see a quilt top take shape immediately and this often occurs in a day instead of the months it can take to hand quilt.
People love to see their handiwork finished so they can use it or give it as a gift. I love being part of that, and I want to help you accomplish finishing your quilts and being proud of what you have made.
